We enjoyed this book for the most part. Little Pears' naughtiness led to some great discussions with my children on obedience, selflessness, and other character traits that Little Pear lacked. This book turned out to be a great teaching tool for our family.

My seven year old says, "This book is great because it is funny and Little Pear gets himself into lots of messes! We went to the library and checked out another Little Pear book because the first this one is so fun to read."

My dd grabbed this book and reread it to her dolls as soon as we were finished with it. She even named one of her stuffed animals 'little pear.' Yes, maybe he's getting into trouble all the time, but the book has a lot of good information in it.

My 8 yr. old son loved this book. It was a simple little story, but he was always shocked at the things Little Pear would get into. I think he spent the whole time with his mouth wide open and in fits of giggles. Just a little fun easy read.

This book was torturous for us. It was too simple, and the situations that Little Pear got into were just annoying. My daughter, who loves almost all books she picks up, didn't even like this one.
