Your purchase of this product will allow us to donate a portion of the total cost of your order to Sonlight's charities. We are thrilled that, last year, we were able to contribute $0.40 to these organizations for every "Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle" we sold. We look forward to doing the same this year!

Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle knows how to cure children of bad habits including selfishness, talking back, and never wanting to go to bed! Whimsical. Pb, illus.

My husband is reading Johnny Tremain out loud with our boys, and he is enjoying it so much that I can't get it away from him to read it myself! He's even staying up at night reading it in bed

My 7yo son hated this book. The language was a blast from the past, and I had to translate and explain so much, that the readings became a frustration. Most 7-8 year olds don't know about going to the drugstore for an ice cream soda (my son thought they were going to buy illegal drugs)! In order to make this book relevant for my son, we would have had to have done a unit study about America in the 1950's. It is my opinion that young children in 2009 don't have the cultural understanding to get much from these stories. In future, we will skip this one.

This was one of my favorite series of books as a child, and I had so much fun reading it to my girls. It is so fun and lighthearted. As a parent, it was such a good reminder to enjoy my children, and be silly sometimes.

Funny funny funny!!! My is always doing something from the book, like being 'slow eater tiny bite taker' and laughing and laughing. She's even made up a few of her own fixes for behaviors LOL
